Population and setting: High-risk postpartum women in one 701-participant trial.
What was found: At 12 weeks, 14% versus 25% scored above the EPDS threshold; reported NNT 8.8.
Limits and applicability: Telephone support came from trained recovered peers; not equivalent to unmoderated groups or AI companions. Screening endpoint is not diagnosis.
